Free NBA Picks 76ers VS NY Knicks and NJ Nets VS Denver Nuggets

Wednesday is packed with hoop action with full schedule of the NBA games. After the multiple games in the previous night, let’s take a look at which teams and free NBA picks will give us the best basketball betting value!

76ers VS New York Knicks
Despite the fact they had to hop on a train last night just after their victory against Sacramento, the flight to the Big Apple is a rather quick one. Now they have to march into Madison Square Garden to face off against Carmelo and the Knicks.

This season, both teams were quite surprising in their own little ways. The 76ers for starters have a 7-2 record and they lead New York in the Atlantic division by 2 games. They have been known to get it done on both ends of the floor. Philadelphia ranks #1 in the NBA in total defense, only giving up 85 points per game and scoring a 3rd best 101.6 per game.

On the other hand, the Knick have been the definition of mediocre. Having a 5-4 and also a huge glaring hole in their back court while the likes of Carmelo, Amare and Tyson Chandler are playing outstanding, the Knicks guards have been awful.

Landry Fields is in the dreaded sophomore slump and the Knicks have no one to get their superstars the ball; meaning Anthony and Stoudemire will play in isolation modes most of the time. Despite their two games in two nights, I am adding a play on the underdog 76ers to my NBA picks. The Knicks need to find themselves after the lockout, and it hasn’t happened yet, and won’t happen tonight.

New Jersey Nets VS Denver Nuggets
Brook Lopez unfortunately went down this season and it somehow took the team with him, not that the Nets were superb in the Eastern Conference before his injury. It has definitely put a burden on his team in which they have yet to recover from.

To make things worse for them, they have had multiple injuries in others as backup center Mehmet Okur and reserve guard DeShawn Stevenson are also questionable. Deron Williams is the lone ranger in the Nets offense at this point. Even though Anthony Morrow has stepped up as of late, his contributions are very spotty.

While the Nets have a lot of injuries, the Nuggets are at peace with their healthy squat that could be the deepest in the league. They have a ten and sometimes eleven man roation that all bring energy, defense and scoring.

The Nuggets are definitely one of the more pleasant surprises in the Western Division up to this moment in the season.

Free NBA Picks: Nuggets -12
